Biography:
Karlygash Soltanbekova is Head of the Subsurface Hydrodynamics Department at the Scientific and Production Laboratory “Energy Modeling”, Satbayev University, Almaty, Kazakhstan. She graduated in Petroleum Engineering from Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I. Satbayev and completed her Master’s degree with honors. Her research focuses on enhanced oil recovery, filtration experiments, reservoir simulation, and high-viscosity oil field development. She has contributed to studies on chemical, thermal, and gas EOR methods for mature and heavy-oil reservoirs in Kazakhstan. She has participated in several research projects and authored more than 30 scientific publications, two monographs, and two copyright registration certificates.
