About GOPE 2027 | Hybrid Event
The 6th Edition of International Conference on Oil, Gas and Petroleum Engineering (GOPE 2027) will bring together an international community of petroleum engineers, geoscientists, and energy professionals for three days of technical presentations and professional exchange. Taking place from September 9–11, 2027, in Valencia, Spain and Online, and built around the theme “Advancing Oil, Gas and Petroleum Engineering for a Sustainable Future”, this hybrid event offers a meeting point where upstream, midstream, and downstream expertise can be shared openly.
GOPE 2027 welcomes petroleum engineers, reservoir and drilling specialists, geoscientists, production and process engineers, refinery professionals, researchers, academicians, energy consultants, service company representatives, regulators, and students. Bringing operators, technology providers, and academic researchers into one forum encourages candid technical dialogue, widens professional networks, and opens the door to partnerships that turn research findings into field-ready solutions.
The technical program spans exploration and reservoir characterization, drilling and well completion, enhanced oil recovery, unconventional resources, production optimization, flow assurance, pipeline engineering, natural gas processing and LNG, refining and petrochemicals, offshore and deepwater operations, digital oilfield technologies, health, safety and environment, carbon capture and storage, and decarbonization strategies shaping the future of petroleum engineering.
