Biography:
Kyproula Georgiou holds a First-Class Honors bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Cyprus University of Technology and is currently pursuing a PhD at the same university in collaboration with Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company, funded by the Research Innovation Foundation. Her current work focuses on optimizing in silico sour gas processing for offshore deepwater gas technology applications in the Eastern Mediterranean Region. Kyproula completed her bachelor’s thesis in Computational Fluid Dynamics. She also worked as a lab technician and as a chemical engineering intern in the pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating skills and the ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with real-world industrial processes.
