Biography:
Dr. Vikram Mahamiya is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research (Physics) at SRM University-AP, India. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India in 2022, and subsequently completed postdoctoral research at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Japan and the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Italy. His research focuses on computational materials science, specifically using atomistic simulations to study nanoscale materials for energy storage, catalysis, and gas and biomolecule sensing. He also investigates the excited state properties of nanoscale systems using many body methods. Dr. Mahamiya has authored over 25 publications in highly reputed peer-reviewed journals.
