Biography:
Zahrah Al Marhoon is a Senior Petroleum Engineer at the Upstream Advanced Research Center and a PhD candidate at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). She holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and has over 15 years of experience in drilling research. For the past six years, Zahrah has focused on bismuth alloy technology as a remediation solution for sustained casing pressure in casing-casing annuli. Her work covers alloy development, thermal deployment system design, and full-scale testing. She has authored and co-authored over 20 papers and patents spanning well integrity and bismuth alloy technology.
