Biography:
Dr. Farhana Maqbool is the Associate Professor of Microbiology at Hazara University, Mansehra, Pakistan. She completed her PhD from Ocean University of China in 2012. She has published more than 45 research articles in JCR journal including two book chapters and review papers. She has supervised 42 Masters and two Ph.D students. She has expertise in the metagenomics and able to handle sequencing data. Currently she is working in the field of petroleum polluted water treatment through aerobic and anaerobic reactors. One of her PhD scholar is working on Mineralization of iron mine tailing with agriculture residues and Sesbania sesban plant.
