Laurence Bird

Biography:

Laurence Bird is an Emissions Researcher at S&P Global, specializing in the research and modeling of upstream oil and gas assets for the International Upstream group at Commodity Insights. His current responsibilities involve emissions quantification for assets in the Middle East. Laurence holds a degree in Geology from Imperial College London and a PhD in Geosciences from Pennsylvania State University. Following his PhD, he completed postdoctoral research at the California Institute of Technology and the U.S. Geological Survey.
