Biography:
Sultan Al Balushi is a Control and Automation Engineer at Petroleum Development Oman with experience in the design, construction, commissioning and functional safety of control and safeguarding systems in upstream oil and gas facilities. He holds a First-Class Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Auckland and is pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Leeds. He is also a TÜV-certified Functional Safety Engineer. His interests include artificial intelligence, industrial automation, digital transformation and the development of intelligent engineering tools that improve project delivery, safety and operational reliability.
