Title : Measurement data validation

Abstract:

The scope of the document will offer insight on activities performed which will contribute value to a company over the course of time.

Measurement Data Validations

The validation of Fiscal metering stations associated with the Gas Skids indicated the importance of considering uncertainty in relation to the changes in pressure and temperature conditions at the calibration facility and at the site (Radial Expansion). The ISO-17089-1 standard emphasizes the importance of taking into account the aforementioned effect when performing measurements. Accordingly, this has been implemented in skids primarily for private customers and has therefore resulted in higher accuracy. Over time, it will add value to the company.

Master Meter Validation (liquid)

By performing the master meter validation at site by the authorized flow specialist agency at regular intervals is ensuring the measurement accuracy within the defined limits. It will contribute value to the organization over time.

Audience Takeaway Notes:

  • The teams associated with measurements can analyze the flow data and the radial expansion of the Ultrasonic Meter body due to the combined pressure/Temp effect can be considered.
  • The validation of Fiscal metering stations associated with the Gas Skids indicated the importance of considering uncertainty in relation to the changes in pressure and temperature conditions at the calibration facility and at the site (Radial Expansion). The ISO-17089-1 standard emphasizes the importance of taking into account the aforementioned effect when performing measurements.
  • Accordingly, this has been implemented in skids primarily for private customers and has therefore resulted in higher accuracy. Over time, it will add value to the company.
  • USM installation effects can be researched further to improve the uncertainty calculations.
