Biography:
Dr. Aleksandra Małachowska specializes in petroleum reservoir studies and crude oil processing. Her research focuses on the geochemical, geomechanical properties of unconventional rock formations, and further crude oil processing. A strong focus is placed on developing practical and innovative solutions for the oil and gas industry. She actively collaborates with industry partners to bridge the gap between research and application. Dr Małachowska earned her PhD after conducting research at the Schlumberger Innovation Centre, where she investigated the role of rock heterogeneity in kerogen transformation and fluid mobility. She has hands-on experience working with rock cores from North and South America, and crude oil samples from all around the world. Dr. Aleksandra Małachowska is currently working at the Department of Process Engineering and Chemical Technology at Gdansk University of Technology.
