Hydrogen Production & Role in Energy Transition

As the global push for decarbonization accelerates, hydrogen production & role in energy transition are gaining prominence in the oil and gas sector. Steam methane reforming (SMR) with carbon capture and water electrolysis using renewable energy are advancing clean hydrogen production. Blue and green hydrogen are emerging as key alternatives to fossil fuels in refining and transportation. Hydrogen blending in natural gas pipelines and fuel cell applications are expanding its role in energy infrastructure. As industries aim for carbon neutrality, hydrogen’s integration into refining and petrochemical processes is revolutionizing energy systems while reducing the environmental footprint of traditional fossil fuels.
